Local Partners

The Fred Hollows Foundation has had a longstanding partnership with the Jiangxi Provincial Bureau of Health (PBOH), which currently provides support for The Fred Hollows Foundation's China-Australia Cataract Surgery Training Cooperation Program.

The Foundation also enjoys a strong relationship with the Jiangxi Provincial Government, which has indicated its support for the new Eye Care Centre which The Foundation is planning to establish in Jiangxi Province.

County level hospitals have also become close working partners in The Foundation's China-Australia Cataract Surgery Training Cooperation Program, with strong links established at Gaoan People's Hospital, where The Foundation is currently planning to support the establishment of an Eye Care Centre focused on paediatric ophthalmology.
