Local Partners

The Fred Hollows Foundation’s partner in Nepal is Tilganga Eye Centre which self-manages its development programs and deals directly with all local and international partners. 

Dr Sanduk Ruit, Medical Director of Tilganga Eye Centre, was instrumental in the establishment of the Nepal Eye Program and remains a close partner of The Foundation.

Substantial funding has been provided by AusAID, particularly in the earlier phases of Tilganga’s establishment.
