Lindsay Dewhurst, Nurse Coordinator

Following research and consultation conducted throughout the Pacific in 1999, The Foundation began supporting training for nurses and doctors in Papua New Guinea.  A more comprehensive national eye health program, in partnership with the National Department of Health and Port Morseby Hospital, has commenced and works within the framework of the global VISION 2020 campaign.  The Foundation also works with the University of PNG and Divine Word University in Madang in support of its training programs.
