If you remember the story of the baby twin boys from Laos, Samlan and Sintham, born blind from cataract - you’ll remember that their surgery was dramatic, and the first of its kind performed in Laos on babies so young.
And you’re probably wondering how they’re doing today.
We checked in on the boys two months later and are pleased to report that the boys are doing just fine. Thanks to our supporters, they can see their family for the first time in their lives. They’ll have to wear special glasses for a little while – a temporary (but adorable) measure while their young eyes are developing.
The video below, narrated by Ray Martin, tells the story. But the joy on Samlan and Sintham’s mother’s face says even more.
