Eye surgeon Dr Sanduk Ruit talks about The Foundation's work in Myanmar on ABC Radio Australia's Asia Pacific program.

In partnership with Dr Ruit and his team from Nepal's Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology, The Foundation is supporting an outreach eye clinic that is one of the largest of its kind to take place in the country.Approximately 4,000 people have been screened, with an estimated 1,600 people being identified for surgery. Working side-by-side with local Burmese staff, the team is bringing high-volume, high-quality eye surgery to people living with avoidable blindness in Myanmar.
