Close the Gap

In Australia, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are three times more likely to be blind or vision impaired  than non-Indigenous Australians.

Close the Gap is an initiative calling for this trend to be addressed and stronger action to be taken to improve indigenous eye health.

The Close the Gap petition specifically, is a call to action asking the Australian Government for a firm commitment to closing the eye health gap in Australia.
