Dr Karl helped Fred’s work by building a machine to detect electrical signals from the human retina, to diagnose certain eye diseases. His curiosity and passion inspire a new generation of changemakers.

Turia joined The Foundation in the Northern Territory, witnessing life-changing cataract surgeries performed by Australia’s first Aboriginal ophthalmologist. Turia is also an ambassador for our annual fundraising challenge, Fred’s Big Run.
