The Fred Hollows Foundation is excited to announce a partnership with The HOYTS Group in October 2023. The Foundation and The HOYTS Group will be working together to eliminate blindness and vision loss, with The HOYTS Group supporting our work to close the gap in eye care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.

This partnership is multifaceted and will include staff education and engagement, with The Foundation becoming a charity of choice on The HOYTS Group Workplace Giving program and contributing to their See the Big Picture Initiative. Together we aim to raise awareness and contribute to the impact of culturally safe, responsive and accessible eye care on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Australia.

To kick-start this partnership, The Foundation is utilising The HOYTS Group’s platform to raise awareness for World Sight Day on Thursday the 12th of October by promoting our work on screens outside of the cinema. World Sight Day is a day for global recognition of the importance of eye health and getting your eyes tested regularly.

“The Foundation is excited to work with such a well-known and trusted brand like The HOYTS Group on this new partnership. Through joint activities across The HOYTS Group portfolio, we look forward to engaging with staff, community and stakeholders to raise awareness of The Foundation's work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.”

Thank you to The HOYTS Group for your support, we look forward to making a long-term, tangible contribution to our work in Australia.
