Founder of Rainbow Roos
Brad Ambridge
Inspired by his son’s journey living with autism, Brad Ambridge created Rainbow Roos in 2024 to give children with disabilities a safe space to play and access opportunities in a stimulating environment. He is often credited with increasing children’s participation in soccer across the Northern Rivers, helping them build confidence in every session.
He has also relentlessly secured grants so families can enrol their child regardless of background or circumstance. So far, he has provided $75,000 in subsidies to families by removing cost and affordability barriers. Brad passionately believes that every child should have the opportunity to participate in sports and has transformed Rainbow Roos into a place of belonging where every child can learn and thrive.

Dentist and Community Volunteer
Dr Rachael Wu
Dr Rachael Wu started as a volunteer in her first year of dental school and has dedicated eight years to Tzu Chi International Medical Association. Growing up in a refugee family, she understands the challenges her family faced in accessing quality dental care because of financial hardships. Driven by a deep sense of purpose, she leads pro bono dental clinics in Western Australia for disadvantaged populations, including people experiencing homelessness and displacement, as well as those facing cultural barriers.
She has personally raised over $35,000, overseen the delivery of $323,000 worth of dental treatment, and changed the lives of more than 200 patients. Her sheer determination, compassion, and agency to make positive change inspire those around her.

Co-founder of ReLove
Ben Stammer
With a background in finance, Ben Stammer has amassed a wealth of knowledge and expertise over his 25-year career to drive positive change. He co-founded the charity ReLove with Ren Fernando over five years ago to provide quality pre-loved furniture to women and families affected by domestic violence and those in a crisis. Today, ReLove provides free furnishings to 30 families each week, helping them create a place to call home.
His work is shaping conversations about environmental solutions to a social need, connecting people with rescued furniture that would otherwise end in waste. ReLove is a powerful example of how practical support can rebuild lives while restoring dignity and respect for many Australians.
