The Fred Hollows Foundation is grateful to receive the support of so many Australian businesses this World Sight Day. Thank you for making a difference.

World Sight Day is a day to spread awareness of the importance of eye health and to encourage people to get regular testing #LoveYourEyes.

On Thursday the 14th of October several Australian businesses pledged to donate a portion of their profits to The Foundation to help end avoidable blindness.

This campaign aimed to give customers a unique reason to choose their brand, boost sales, staff morale, and generate positive brand awareness during these challenging times. The Foundation in return provided these businesses with the marketing tools to promote their support including branded social media tiles, email signatures, posters, and badges.

The incredible businesses that partnered with The Foundation on World Sight Day are now part of a global movement to end avoidable blindness.

1.1 billion people including 90 million children are currently living with vision loss because they do not have access to basic eye care services, this support will contribute to improving this access to eye health care.
