Jane Ohuma

Jane Ohuma

Country Manager: Kenya

Jane Ohuma is a medical humanitarian aid worker with 23 years of experience in international humanitarian aid and development.

Since joining The Foundation in 2011 as the Country Manager for Kenya, Jane is responsible for positioning The Foundation as a leading international development organisation and putting eye health in Africa on the global agenda.

Jane is a Public Health Nurse graduate and has worked in international humanitarian and development programs, across refugee and internally displaced persons’ camps in Eastern Europe and Africa.  
Dr Maria Victoria Rondaris (Dr Mavi)

Dr Maria Victoria Rondaris (Dr Mavi)

Country Manager: Philippines

Dr Mavi is based in Manila, Philippines and has been with The Foundation since 2021. She is passionate about improving access to eye health services in her country. 

By profession, Dr Mavi is a Public Health Ophthalmologist and prior to joining The Foundation, she was a Vice-Chair of an eye centre at a public hospital for seven years and a professor in two national universities in the Philippines.

Dr Mavi has twice been the recipient of the Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology award (2014 and 2015) for her Outstanding Service in the Prevention of Blindness in the Asia Pacific region.
