Cyrus is the Head of Hong Kong and Macau at The Fred Hollows Foundation, responsible for overall strategy development, execution, and leading a team across operations, fundraising, marketing, partnerships, and programs.
Cyrus also consulted for Asian member network organisations dedicated to venture philanthropy and sustainable finance as a fractional advisor. He was AVPN's Hong Kong Market Representative in 2025 when Hong Kong hosted the Global Conference together with Host Partner The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. He was also a Growth Consultant at Sustainable Finance Initiative (SFi), developing strategic growth initiatives and screening sustainable investment opportunities for the family office member network.
Prior to philanthropy and sustainable investment, Cyrus was a venture advisor, investor, and operator. As an operator, he served as a General Manager and Head of Business Development at ventures from Seed to IPO stages and across industries from environmental solutions to logistics. Cyrus started his career in New York as a public equities investor for an investment management firm.
Cyrus is driven to work alongside high-performing teams at people/planet-positive organisations. The economic return of investing in eye health is undeniable, and as an investor by training, he is motivated to lead The Foundation's work in Hong Kong and Macau to end avoidable blindness.
