2026 Fred Hollows Humanity Award ended successfully!

Seeing Kindness, Sparking Hope: Over 1,000 Students Inspire Change at the Humanity Award 2026
The Fred Hollows Humanity Award 2026 has successfully concluded, with the presentation ceremony held at Tai Kwun in Central on 13 June 2026, celebrating the inspiring actions of young changemakers.
This year’s Award reached a record level of participation, with over 1,000 Primary 3 to Primary 6 students from 104 local and international schools taking part, and more than 300 project submissions. Their initiatives reflected a shared commitment to caring for others — from promoting eye health and supporting the elderly, to fostering inclusion and strengthening community connections.
Inspired by Professor Fred Hollows’ belief that we should look after one another, the Humanity Award continues to empower students to turn compassion into meaningful action and create positive change in their communities.
